ABOUT ME
My name is Aida Masliah. I have been an artist since the first day I could hold a pencil.
I have found expressing my thoughts through art, specifically Colored Pencil, is my passion.
Discovering this medium opened up a form of expression where I am able to to bring my feelings and inner most thoughts to life through many colors, shapes and forms.
I particularly enjoy to create pieces based on word play, puns and my innermost thoughts and points of view on life issues.
I am a member of the San Diego Drawing Guild, Foothills Gallery as well as the Colored Pencil Society of America. These organizations have helped me feel as if I have an extended family amongst friends and gives me the opportunity to share my art with like-minded artists.
I was also a participant in the Atheneum Library for Art and Music for over 15 years, where I exhibited my art every year in their Student Art Show.
I also participated in the CPSA art exhibition in 2016 in Bethesda, MD at the Strathmore Museum and received a prize.
